Cyber will take the longest because it will remain on the internet forever but there are some companies now that can help you remove things from search engines.

Physical bullying can change a person's personality completely. Any physical abuse that takes place before the age of 15 can deeply effect how that child develops into an adult. If you put the fear of physical harm into the mix you are likely to have a much more serious problem.

Especially kids that are being bullied at home and that is why teachers have been trained to spot that kind of behavior and get them the help that they need.

All forms of bullying can have long term effects on the person it happens too, whether that person is a child or an adult. Some of the effects of bullying are more obvious than others, but that doesn't make them any less real for the person who is being bullied.

Social bullying can destroy your social skills forever. If you dont develop how to meet people and cope with strangers while you are young the social problems continue when you are older. It can be a sad problem that people will just ignore others completely just because they dont want to embarrass themself in front of strangers so the probelm persists.

There are adults that spend lots and lots of money in therapy trying to get over their troubled childhood. You need a professional to explain that you were one of many people that has gone through this and given the tools to overcome. Bullying can seriously damage someone to the point of self destruction.

What type of therapist would deal with childhood bullying?

I think just a basic life coach/counselor could help you with childhood issues as an adult.

Just dont get too concerned with taking medication. The best from of therapy is without medications. You have to shed a lot of tears to get over the past but thats ok. If you were bullied in your childhood then you are affected as an adult. Once you realize that then you are able to begin the treatment that you need to become a healthy minded adult. Its easy to supress feelings and develop personality traits from your childhood so if you can change those habits and traits as an adult you will live a long happy life.
