I think it is too difficult to understand what the courts want to punish a bully. It seems like they protect the guilty party more than they do the victim.

What happens when you dont show up for court when you have been subpoenaed?Does that mean you lose or are you in trouble?

Depends on what the subpoena is for. If it's to appear to defend yourself against a crime, usually a bench warrant is issues. If its a case against you civilly, then its usual judgment for the party that showed up. Its a case by case and all depends on the alleged crime and whether it is civil or criminal court.

Remember you are not being asked to show in court you are being ordered by either a judge or a lawyer and if you dont listen you will be in more trouble than you want to be in.

People think they can ignore court orders like they ignore bill collectors but when they find out its a little more serious its always fun to see a judge tear them down when they finally get them into court.

I think all you need to do is have a lawyer file a suit against someone and then for (evidence collecting in the matter) the judge could make an order for the subpoena.

A subpoena is a court order by the judge to come to court to testify as a witness. If it is not adhered to, the court can issue warrants compelling the said witness to appear and testify.
