Identity theft on the internet is so common. It's really sad. I m not sure if the same rules for identity theft would apply for using someone identity in the net, unless they were doing illegal stuff and acting maliciously.

If they commit a crime with it for sure. Just doing it ... not sure.

Whats up with all the parody accounts? Would that be like identity theft? Or am I misinformed?

I have read stories about kids in school making fake accounts just to bully kids and yes I believe that if facebook finds that you are doing this that computer that the account was made on should be banned for life from facebook and the person(s) should be held accountable

You arent allowed to have tons of ID cards and names in the real world so I think each person should pick one name and that is their name for life on the computer. This way people are no longer allowed to make fake accounts and hurt people
