Gay bullying is wrong in every situation but sometimes the source of the hate is not safe to stand up against. What you should do though is never let them tell you that you arent good enough. If you are proud to be gay just listen to the haters and smile and walk away

Don't I know.. English is my first language, but I have lived the Bronx, Canada, and on the Rez. So mix it all up and yup. got mad fun of big time. I was always the tallest in my class including the boys, so got teased for that. and I was chubby, and mixed... Now, I can embrace my differences and people find me more interesting. ;)

I think that is the full circle of life that when you are having a rough time for something if you are patient and stay true to yourself you will eventually be praised for the same things that caused you misery prior.

If I was bullied for any reason I would make a joke of it to try and redirect the comment.

I dont believe you have to put yourself down in order to diffuse the argument.If they call you a bad name just nod your head and move on. Giving them no reason to continue. Acknowledge what happened but in a non aggressive way so it is over.
