Yeah, there should be a separate bullying report that all are held accountable to.

Teachers are the ones our kids look to for guidance and support. When the teachers fails to this, our kids feel they have no one. So, teachers need to be held accountable for all reports, no matter how big or small. The need to be able to take the information to someone above them that can directly handle all incidences, no matter how big or small. Small problems lead to bigger things and bigger problems lead to really bad things! We all have read the stories of a teen who killed them self about something we feel may be minute.

It sounds simple but you would have to make a complicated system so the teachers and faculty cant agree to give each other all good marks so they are never in trouble. You see this type of cooperation when companies ask to fill out a survey on their bosses/coworkers productivity. If you all agree to fake the report then nothing changes.

Yes, I agree. There is a unwritten code with teachers. so if it came down to it, they are going to stand up and ride for each other. But I also agree that there needs to be teacher accountability.

How can we expect the teachers to step out of the box when every time they do the school system punishes them because of a parent doesnt approve. You are creating teachers who are afraid to act because they fear litigation and termination. We need to give more power to the teachers and give them the authority to punish and parent as they see fit.
