Im from the east coast too and was always teased about how I talked as well, especially now that I am on the west coast. I like being different. I like how people assume I should talk, dress, act, or believe one way, but I am the total opposite. It is just the funniest thing to watch peoples jaws drop when I speak, dress, and act outside the stereotypical "black" girl. lol
