Fighting should only be used as a last resort of protection.

I regret not helping a boy that would get beat up regularly in my hometown.Pushed to the ground and laughed at more times than anyone ever deserves in one lifetime. If I would have stood up to those bullies they would have probably pushed me down too but at least they would leave him be for a moment.Nobody helped this kid and it haunts me to this day.He looked so lost trying to wonder why he was the chosen one.My heart aches for him and that is my biggest regret when I think of bullying.

After reading some of the articles posted on this site, I am regretful for teasing some kids in JH and HS because they didn't fit what I thought was cool. Turns out I was the un-cool one.

Not uncool... maybe a little misguided. Glad you see it now. *hug*

My biggest regret is I didn't stick up for the guys/girls who were getting bullied

Its hard, I found out later, because those who witness bullying fear it being turned on them. When I was bullied in high school, the girls just made me feel outcasted, called me names, wanted to beat me up. The others who witnessed it were scared they would be done the same way.

I regret hitting my best friend Martha, when she beat me at the county fair's bake sale.
