I agree. I offered this at my kids school and they said it wouldn't work. Public shaming works great! Remember the girl who stole $200 from her granny and she made her wear a sign that stated she stole money from her granny?? Bet she won't do that again! Lol

Thats a good idea but how could it practically be implemented?

I know! Have them wear I AM A BULLY tshirt for a specified amount of time, have them sit in the bully section of class and lunch room, and have a bully blast at the school!!! There picture is on bully blast until they correct their behavior. Some parents may disagree, but dang! Teach your kid to not be a bully!!!! Public shaming is a great tool, I think!

Thats why adults have criminal records because it follows them around by shame so if you do that to a child they will hopefully get it through their heads before it is too late.

This is very true. I agree with this idea. I think its a brilliant idea too. Shame the kid younger, so when they get older, they will know that the record they have stays with them forever.

Why do some people see an issue in public humiliation? It works. And those who oppose it for their kids for bullying, stealing, lying, or whatever kids do, condone and enforce it for adults. What do you think happens when you are released from prison? A record, basically a huge scarlet A, and a form of public humiliation. Same with any crime. Soon as a person runs your background check, everything you have ever done, no matter how minute, shows up. Sure it doesn't have to be or is as extreme as a ex con, but it really isn't that much different. Either get over it, and teach your kids manners, or allow him/her to be publicly shamed, just as they are doing to their victim.
