Casual Attitude

Postby 82BreeBaby » Tue Jun 05, 2012 1:16 pm

I wish that the parents that dont have to experience their children being bullied when stop having such casual attitudes about the topic. They would like to believe that it is not a big problem because they dont deal with it directly. Ask any parent that has to see their child cry from torment at their school and tell me its not a big issue. When you try to go to the school for help there is not a system in place to protect the student and it is very frustrating. I really wish this would change....

Myabe you should try to get all of the parents and students to watch this movie and see if they have the same perception of bullying.

I havent seen bully yet but I have heard a lot of good things about it and how it is changing people's opinions about the state of bullying in our schools.

If you are not part of the solution then you are part of the problem. Dont turn your back on people that are trying to solve bullying and act like it doesnt exist because its everywhere and unless the kids stop bullying others to the brink of suicide then we still have a problem.

Its easy to ignore the kids that are struggling when you have a straight A popular kid. Im not saying that its other parents responsiblity to take on a child that isnt their own but dont act like it doesnt happen. Just because you arent directly effected doesnt mean it doesnt happen every day. The only way we can stop bullying is to have everyone fight together as one team.

I dont think any parent can ignore bullying once they see this movie and when they do they will understand how some kids are going through the gauntlet every day and are just barely making it by.

Anyone with a casual attitude needs a lesson on how vast this problem spreads. It is in every corner of the globe and if you havent been bullied yourself then chances are you know someone that has. I think more or less the problem lies with adults wanting to be in their own world and stay away from the negativity. Ignoring the problems that are real will only make them worse and if you take them lightly they will never be solved and we will have accomplished nothing.

If you are a parent and you see another parent worried for their child's safety how could you ever be casual about that and not want to help them.

Those parents are just in denial and refuse to see the world how it really is because they think that if they act like its not happening then they dont have to deal with it.
