The ones that are laughing and playing games are the ones who really are in the worst shape. They think that lifestyle is cool and they dont even know what they are getting into. Even when the guys who are lifers in prison try to get through to them and they dont get it then its sad. Sad because you know they are throwing away their future.

Im always up for seeing more kids who think they are tough being chopped down to size. I think making your kids watch these show is important too because they can learn from the other kids mistakes.

Best show on tv and yes each school district should make the worst students go through this program and learn the hard way.

This show is really good. I like some of the outcomes, but sometimes I think the wrong message is portrayed. I understand for the minors safety they can not legally leave them there, but maybe they should open one and put "actors" in there and have them stay the weekend. I don't think a full day is sufficient to get across to these kids their actions could cause this negative reaction.

I think that scared straight show would be more effective if the kids could actually o on lock down for a few days to a week depending on the need and nature of bad behavior. Telling them and having them talk to inmates can be effective for some, but it really is no different than us as parents beating it into their heads. I think having the kids actually stay there, and doing the day to day would be more effective.

Call me cynical but when the kids that think they are tough begin to cry it makes me laugh because it reminds me of kids from my old school that would act really tough until they would skin their knee and start crying

If you ever saw a kid misbehaving so bad and you wanted to walk over and show them how to behave then watch this tv show because its everything you wish a parent would do to their little bratty kid
