Cheap enough to not have an excuse and even if you dont believe in violence thats not what karate is about. Karate prevents violence

My mom put me in Karate when I was 7 and it helped me a lot. My confidence when anyone who tried to fight me was through the roof and just the willingness on my face would make the bully back down. Karate doenst make you want to fight it just makes you not afraid to fight.

Very true, also discipline and respect are key to karate. In some asian cities, every kid must learn Karate.

Karate, and any martial art is really good for kids. Look around. Most places offer the first week or month if class free to see if your kid really likes it.

I have a brown belt(14) and a yellow belt(9) it has helped them in more ways than one.I think every parent should take their children to a couple of classes and see how they respond.

I would be scared of grounding them if they had a black belt :D
