Thats a good deal for a lesson that is invaluable when you need to use it.

Thats cheap enough to put both of my boys in that class. I wonder if you get deal by having 2 boys at the same time. Anyone know that info?

Family rates will apply if you sign up at the same time.

Karate is about the same price as any sport that they would play but they are learning something in karate that will stay with them their entire life.

You dont have to keep them in karate long enough to get a black belt just the basic self defense and proper techniques on how to fight back. This will take a year maximum and then you can enroll them into any sport that you wish.

I took karate and it made me a lot more confident that I could defend myself. That confidence was shown on the school yard when kids would try me and I would easily take care of them. If word spreads that you know how to fight in school people will leave you alone.

The most basic lessons are taught in your first year of karate. Respect, discipline, technique. If you dont want to continue after a year that is up to you and your child. The least that you can do though is let them enroll for a year and learn the basics so they have that skill throughout their life.

Are they teaching fighting or do they make the kids in the class fight each other in karate?

The only way to teach a fight is to fight. You can give them all the skills and have a controlled fight. You wear protective gear and the instructor will advise the entire thing.

Both of my sons took a karate class for a year and they loved it. I got the peace of mind knowing they know how to defend against a bully and they loved being allowed to fight and not get into trouble. Now they both have a lot of discipline and they arent afraid of anyone.
