Listen carefully

Have advice for parents of a bullied kid? What can they do? How can they help?

Its great when family sticks together. Speaks up for one another, goes to bat, but yet can hate each other, all in the same breath. I have 3 teenage boys. I know all to well....

Like asking "key words" in a Google search gets you the best results... asking your kids key questions will do the same.

I try to get involved with my teenagers lives, friends, sport, activities, and you learn so much from that.

This is something that I really want to make sure I do with my son. I didnt have that kind of relationship with my parents because I always thought I would get into trouble if I told them. I dont want my son to even think twice about talking to me. I need to tell him before this happens that I have been bullied too so if he needs advice I will always be there for him.
