Parent bullying

Are you bullied by your Mother or Father? Why do you think this happens and how can you make it stop?

I was bullied by my father when I was younger because I wasnt "man" enough for him. I didnt want to scratch myself and play sports all day long so I didnt get his approval. He would call me names like lazy and weak when I tried to tell him I didnt like sports. Selfish fathers that dont see their child as a human being but more like their toy get frustrated when their toy doesnt play their games with them. Its more like the father is the child and the boy is stuck with him until he is 18. The only thing you can do to stop it is to try explaining that you have no interest in sports but you would really like to have a relationship doing things that you enjoy. If he doesnt come around at that point then you are not to blame. I blamed myself for years but now that I am an adult I know that my dad had serious issues and was not meant to be a parent.

I sure hope so. Sometimes parents can have depression or just a bad set of skills for raising a child. Whatever the case may be they are still your parent and you must learn to forgive forget and move on if you want to have a real relationship with them.

Best thing you can do is have a son of your own and fix all the mistakes your father made with you.

Any man that says that to his son is not even half of a man.

It sad to think about kids being treated like that by their dads.You cant choose your dad

Some kids are either extra sensitive or just clueless and they say that their parents bully them but its really just giving them discipline and tough love.
