Brian Rogers is an American mixed martial artist who currently fights for Bellator Fighting Championships.
The MMA pro fighter was giving students at middle school advice on how to deal with bullying and that they weren't alone. Rogers revealed his own personal experience with bullying as a boy. He reminded students that circumstances change, and that growing up lends perspective.
“My nickname was BBB — Big Booty Brian,” he said. “It didn’t feel good to be called that, but when you’re 30 and you look back at those people (who bullied you) you feel differently.”
It really puts things into perspective for kids when they see a guy like Rogers who is so strong reveal that they were bullied. Anyone can be bullied so it is important to educate about preventing and protecting from bullying.
