"I’m from California and growing up in the industry at the time when I was at my awkward stage where I was older than a teenager but not old enough to play those woman roles yet. The media and blogs were starting to sprout up and celebrities became more accessible for people to find. For every 100 things that people say about you that are nice those two or three things that people would say that were negative would be really harsh and would hurt my feelings. Prior to that I had already experienced a huge amount of bullying in school on a regular basis, but once I graduated high school and started delving more into the industry it was like “oh no; more bullying.” It was a different form of bullying but to me those harsh comments were still a form of bullying, so I do take the topic very seriously."
