Alyssa Wyspianski is Miss Teen Manitoba-World 2013. After being crowned she visited local school sharing her personal story of being bullied and teaching them how to stop bullying. severely
"Everyone wants to feel like they’re part of a group in school and she was a quiet kid who didn’t find a group to hang around with until Grade 8.
"This group, they did drugs. They started to gang up on me. They didn’t like that I had good grades," she said.
The bullying became physical, and eventually the police became involved to make it stop. Wyspianski said when she was in school the issue of bullying was never talked about."It was so hidden,"

I am much older than Alyssa and I certainly didn't have anyone come to my school and tell us that bullying was bad. So many impressionable people spend a lot of time teaching kids how to prevent bullying now it is very nice to see a change in the right direction.
