Perrie Louise Edwards, is from South Shields, Tyne and Wear. Her first audition was "You Oughta Know" by Alanis Morissette. She has been dating One Direction member Zayn Malik since April 2012 and the two became engaged in August 2013.



Perrie Edwards has received death threats this year after going public about her relationship with One Direction's Zayn Malik, prompting her at one point to delete her Twitter account.
