Jose Marie Borja Viceral who uses the stage name Vice Ganda, is a Filipino comedian, television presenter, endorser, actor, and recording artist. Viceral is a regular host/judge on ABS-CBN’s noontime variety show It's Showtime and starred in films, two of which are considered the highest-grossing films in Philippine cinema.
He is best known for his stand-up routines, for which he uses observational comedy, situational irony and sarcasm in pertaining to Filipino culture and human sexuality. He is also the first openly gay endorser for a major product (Globe Telecom).
The youngest of five children, Viceral grew up in the neighbourhood along José Abád Santos Street in Manuguit, Tondo, Manila. His father, a barangay captain, was murdered when he was young, prompting his mother to leave the children for work abroad as a caregiver. He took Political Science at Far Eastern University, and at age 19, had begun writing and performing stand-up comic routines in comedy bars in Ermita, Manila.
He was bullied regularly as a child for being a closeted homosexual by his peers but luckily he turned his pain into passion and became a very out and proud celebrity that can make a difference in the gay community.

Acceptance is so important when you trying to develop as a healthy adult when you stay closeted and afraid of being yourself it can have damaging effects on your mind and body.Luckily for Vice he has learned to accept himself and live happy
