Motivated by Martial Arts to develop himself physically and mentally, from £100 bank account at age 17 saved from working as a lifeguard, Master Fiddes has since gone on to build an international branded empire of more than 500 schools. The schools span the UK, Europe and most recently Australia and New Zealand. Also becoming pop legend Michael Jackson's personal bodyguard.
Matt started the business after being bullied at school and completely put off the traditional education route to success. Instead he set his sights on becoming a full-time martial arts teacher, opening his first school in Devon aged just 17.
Master Fiddes puts his business success down to teaching life skills rather than how to physically defeat people. He has developed special programmes for young children where there is a strong emphasis on anti-bullying and developing useful life skills to help them become successful adults. He launched the NOBULL anti-bullying campaign in 2007 using his personal experience of being bullied and the knowledge developed through the Matt Fiddes Martial Arts programmes. The campaign www.nobull.org.uk won national and international support and media attention.
Master Fiddes said, "Martial arts is one of the few activities to bring together both the mind and the body. Even while I was being bullied at school it gave me the inner strength to focus on creating a successful future for myself."

Thats perfect! He gets bullied then turns around and creates an environment where kids can come learn how to defend themselves against bullies. Bravo Mr. Fiddes
