David Hallberg made history last year when he became the first American premier dancer for the Bolshoi Ballet in Moscow.
But while growing up in Ph*enix, Hallberg was bullied for dancing to the point that he had to change schools.
"It was a very, very hard time," said Hallberg, now 29. "But my desire to dance and my love for it shined through, and it bloomed into a career."
Hallberg went on to perform internationally, snagging prestigious roles in ballets such as "Swan Lake," "Romeo and Juliet" and "Don Quixote."

I know Russian ballet is elite so he must be darn good if was the first American to dance there
