A University of Texas at Austin freshman football player has been charged in Payne County, Oklahoma for allegedly sending revenge porn via social media.

According to court documents, 20-year-old Ishmael Ibraheem is charged with nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images.

The arrest affidavit says Ibraheem sent the victim and an Oklahoma State University student a video of Ibraheem and the victim engaged in sexual acts.

An OSU officer was contacted by the victim, who said she received a screenshot of an Instagram direct message from Ibraheem to another person. The message was a screenshot of a Tik Tok video of she and Ibraheem having sex.

The victim told police she didn't know at the time that it was being recorded, but she told police Ibraheem did eventually tell her about it and she asked to keep it private, court documents said. Ibraheem told the victim he unsent the message and the person it was sent to never saw it. The OSU student who received the video was a football player for the school and told police it came from Ibraheem's Instagram via direct message and showed it to police.

If convicted, Ibraheem faces up to one year in jail.
