School retraining orders

Do you wish that you could put a restraining order on a bully at school so if they bothered you again they would be punished by the law and the school?

That would be too complicated in the school to arrange the classes so you couldnt be near each other. I dont think that there is enough faculty to make sure that a kid stays the mandatory however many feet you have to to stay away for another student.

You could change the amount of feet and the verbiage of the restraining order to make it fit for school. Instead of hundreds of feet of distance you make it like 10-15 feet and absolutely no talking to each other. You have to enforce something to protect the students from the bullies. If the bully has a restraining order against another student and any student sees that the rules have been broken they will be encouraged to get a teacher so that the proper punishment can be carried out for the violation. If you dont take violence in school seriously then why are we sending our children there.

The punishment should be isolating the student that breaks the restraining order and show them that if they cannot be in environment where they control their own behavior they will be alone where they dont have to worry about them harming others.

The retraining order should be more like a gag order where they cant speak to you and if they do they are in big big trouble.

Kids arent disciplined enough to keep their mouth shut in school it would never work.

You wouldnt need a retraining order thats why they have detention for kids who cant follow the rules. If you review the school tapes and find that they are still bothering a student they were asked to leave alone then its a week detention for every time they are caught.

It would work if they made punishments so bad that the kids actually feared it. in my opinion getting kicked out isnt the answer but forcing them to stay until the receive a diploma is more of a punishment.

I laughed when I saw this topic. How can the teachers not control the students. Retraining orders are for people that do not listen to authority so when they do step out of line they are held accountable. If you are a teacher having a problem with a student not listening and bothering other students then the answer is simple. Seperate the problem child from the group and stop wasting the other kids time trying to resolve it. If they cannot behave then they should be removed.
