Although you might think Emmy has had a life of privilege because of her attendance at the posh New York Spence school where Gwyneth Paltrow attended.
The reality is that Emmy admits to having it pretty hard growing up as a result of her father leaving her mother before her birth. In order to make it possible for her daughter to rub elbows with the other rich young ladies at Spence Rossum’s mom “worked so many jobs to put me through.”
The actresses and songbird admits she “didn’t fit in” because while she was “good at science and math” she just wasn’t into boys which apparently was important at the all girls school.
Although Emmy has been successful so far she admits at times she still feels like “the chubby girl at school who wasn’t cool” and had “horrible yearbook photos.”
Emmy has proclaimed she’s happy with her life now and never regrets anything she does.
