Layton Williams is an English stage actor, best known as one of the boys who played the title role in Billy Elliot the Musical at the Victoria Palace Theatre in London's West End, and as the character Kylie in the BBC UK TV series Beautiful People 2008 and 2009.Since 2012 he has played Stephen Carmichael in the BBC Comedy Bad Education.
Williams is openly gay and works with Stonewall's Education for All campaign.
Williams admitted that he was bullied when he was in school for his sexuality. He said that kids would call him gay boy and things like that but he never let it get him down. He thinks that spreading the word to students about homophobic bullying so important that he is on a tour going from school to school speaking to kids. Layton knows first hand how bad bullying can get so he has spent a lot of his free time dedicated to this anti bullying message.

One day there will be a wonderful piece done about how much crap gays endured from their families, friends, society, and even their own government but still created so much happiness and beautiful things for everyone to appreciate. A struggle that will be remembered by all one day
