Danielle Simone Bradbery is an American country singer from Cypress, Texas. She won season four of NBC's The Voice in 2013, becoming the youngest contestant to come in first place. Her debut studio album, Danielle Bradbery is slated for release November 19, 2013, featuring top 20 country hit "The Heart of Dixie".
As a younger child she was bullied, a fact that was touched on during her blind auditions, when she was introduced to millions.
Now she has some choice words for the haters that treated her so meanly and made her feel really small.
Addressing all those who “were mean to me” in school and saying “I’m not going to get anywhere in my singing career,” Bradbery told the NY Daily News, “Now I’m here and they are probably still in the same place being mean.
My advice to those who are, or have been bullied would be...HAVE FAITH, Stay strong, Keep believing in yourself. Try not to let anyone steal your joy. I know it's hard...but if I can get through it, SO CAN YOU!!!
