Joseph James "Joe" Rogan is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer and color commentator. He is best known for playing Joe Garrelli on the NBC sitcom NewsRadio, commentating for the Ultimate Fighting Championship, as well as hosting the NBC reality show Fear Factor and The Joe Rogan Experience podcast. His new show, Joe Rogan Questions Everything, premieres on Syfy in July 2013.
Joe recently was on the Rosie Show and admitted that when he was a young kid he was pushed around in school and nobody beat him up yet but he knew it was coming. Knowing that his bullies could attack him at any moment he convinced his parents to let him begin Tae Kwon Do so he could defend himself in school. Rogan claims that it was frightening thinking that when you are a 14 year old boy in school with 17-18 year old men and they can attack you and beat you and nobody is going to stop them so that thought is very scary. He compared kids to chimps and wanting to naturally poke at weakness and attack it so that is why bullying mostly takes place in schools.
