Chris Hardwick is an American stand-up comedian, MC (Master of Ceremonies), actor, writer, musician, podcaster, television personality, and voice artist. He is best known for performing with Mike Phirman in Hard 'n Phirm, hosting Singled Out, Wired Science, Web Soup, and The Nerdist Podcast, and as the voice of Otis in Back at the Barnyard. In 2011 he began hosting Ministry of Laughs, a BBC America Britcom block, and Talking Dead, a live hour talk show on AMC.
Self proclaimed King of nerds has a huge following in the nerd community and if you have ever been to a stand up show you would notice there is a lot of people with glasses and when he asks the crowd if there are any nerds in the house be prepared for a load roar from the crowd. Hardwick even makes jokes about the jocks who bullied him in school for being a nerd. That didnt stop him from embracing his nerdiness and becoming a huge star and now host of the podcast show the Nerdist.Clever and edgy Hardwick points out how nerdy he is and sheds light on the comdeic value of his life and everyone he has encountered over the years. If you havent seen his stand up I encourage you to buy a ticket and enjoy the self depricating jokes and witty twists of his life as a nerd.Hopefully his humor will change a few minds next time you think about bullying a nerd.

I was a huge Singled Out fan, mostly because of Jenny McCarthy but I do like Chris a lot and now that I know he is doing comedy I will check it out for sure.
