I just started at a new school and already the same kids that bullied me in 8th grade are in some of my classes in high school. They already are calling me the names that I thought I left behind me and they will make other people call me that and I will have more anxiety attacks.I used to get shortness of breath every time I had to go to certain classes and now I started getting those same feelings again when I went into my classes today. The same bullying again and I just want to make new friends! I dont know if I should tell my teachers now or try to ignore them and make it go away but im scared either way wont work and school just started. Will the teachers in high school get mad if I say something and will they not tell those kids that I told on them so they dont bother me worse? I dont have any older brothers or sister or I would ask them.

Can you change out of the classes that you have with them? I would talk to your counselor first and see what they can do for you . Good Luck.

Involve your parents and have them explain that this is an ongoing problem

Did they let you change classes?

Minnesota law on bullying is the shortest in the Nation but good news. Soon there will be stricter laws in place and bullies will be kicked out of school or moved to another district. Minnesota schools will soon have to change the way they deal with bullying. The Task Force on the Prevention of Bullying, appointed by Governor Mark Dayton in February 2012.

Follow the chain of command. Tell your parents, report it to teachers, counselors, and the principal. If that doesn't work, report it to your superintendent, board of education members, the department of education or your state's attorney general. Write emails, ask for incident reports, audio and/video record the incidents and responses. Expose them. Educate yourself on your school and state's policies and procedures. Contact other state and national anti-bullying organizations. You are a leader.

The worst thing that you can do is keep quiet and let them continue this to you. You have the power to get through this.

Sweetie you need to speak up, dont take this on yourself, these people as teachers are suppose to protect you, take action and make yourself heard, speak up, be loud and let them know you arent the same kid a year ago. If they do not protect you like they should, then you need to go to the authorities, teachers and administration are for your protection, I am here if you need to talk, **, just put in the subject MN guy needing help. SPEAK UP SWEETIE SPEAK UP!!!!
