When i was 11 i was riding my school bus when i was attacked by a child 3 years older and much bigger. I didnt know him he didnt know me. He stabbed me in the arm eith a roofing nail, and kicked me so hard in the ribs my head bounced off the window and i still had a shoe print 3 hours later when my doctor examined me. The bus driver witnessedthe incdent and replied.... its not my problem. Far too many people think bullying isnt their problem. I started shanes antibullying program 3 years ago. I now have a team of kids that have all been bullied. I speak at schools, community functions, have been on the front page of our local paper, been on tvnumerous times and spoke in front of the local mayor and school committee. We reach out to kids that are being bullied to let them know it's not their fault and it is not a normal passage of rights.
