British pop group singer from band Take That talks about his bullying problems
The singer claimed that his relationship with Nigel Martin-Smith was based on such emotional bullying that he was forced to quit the band.
“I was too fat, I needed to lose 2st, I couldn’t dance, and so on,” he said.
“Up until then, I’d fitted into any situation, been liked. All of a sudden, I was in a situation where I wasn’t liked, where I was a problem, where I might be letting down four other people.
“So I’m working and living in fear of my management giving me another psychotic bollocking. And those were my formative years. I’m still pissed off.”
Williams, 36, said that he simply wanted to give Mr Martin-Smith a hug, to say sorry and to hear him say sorry, for the things that happened in 1995.
