The model/actress endured a tough time when she was a youngster because she was constantly teased over her hair colour - and she insists her teachers should have done more to stop the taunts.
Cole, 24, tells Live magazine, "I remember feeling very insecure. When I'd meet people, I would think they wouldn't like me - that was an actual thought process - because I'm a redhead. It's absolutely absurd. Teachers often let it happen because there isn't a stigma around it in the same way there is, quite rightly, about racism. However, Lily has no problem with her locks now, adding, "The irony is that now I love my hair."
